Around 7:40 AM. Get picked up from your central hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and head to the Mekong Delta. Pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. The first stop is Vinh Trang Pagoda. Explore and admire the unique architecture of this historic site, which features a blend of Vietnamese, Khmer, and Chinese influences.
Continue your trip to My Tho which is a prosperous town of 175,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. Cruising on the Mekong River (Mekong tour), you can enjoy the fresh air and watch the natural beauty of the river’s scenery with 04 islets: Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Turtle Island, and Phoenix Island. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Take a boat on the Mekong River to visit the islands. Enjoy tropical fruits, and honey tea & listen to Southern traditional music. Get on a small boat to discover a natural canal of Ben Tre province. Take a short walk on the coconut farm to visit a typical house in the Mekong Delta. Back to big boat by rowing boat on a small canal. Have Lunch at a garden restaurant with Vietnamese food. Then, you can visit the coconut candy workshop & taste fresh candy- speciality. Continue your trip by boat to Ben Tre province - the land of coconuts where you can tour a coconut farm and witness the process of making coconut candy, rice paper, and other coconut-based products. After that, you will have time to relax on a hammock or bike around the village.
As the sun sets, you'll travel back to Ho Chi Minh City and should arrive around 4:45 PM, marking the end of the tour.
